Andrea began riding horses while living in England as a child. She did Pony Club, eventing,
hunted and generally could be found galloping through the Norfolk countryside with her
friends. During this time she took lessons with various local equestrians and always imagined
that life without horses was not an option.

hunted and generally could be found galloping through the Norfolk countryside with her
friends. During this time she took lessons with various local equestrians and always imagined
that life without horses was not an option.
In her 20’s she bought an Arabian stallion and pursued dressage with Dr. Van Schaik, in
Vermont. She also, competed in Competitive Trail, as well as driving, while living in Vermont.
In the 1990’s she moved to New Mexico and pursued dressage in a more formal way and
started training with some of the most highly regarded masters of the sport. Herwig Radnetter,
and Andreas Hausberger of the Spanish Riding School, Bill McMullin, Kai Mark Sebastian,
Andrea Murphy just to name a few.
She opened Santa Fe Sport Horse in 2006. It has blossomed over the years into a premier
Dressage training facility. In 2013 she was awarded Trainer of the Year by the NM Dressage
Association. She has the reputation of being a patient, competent and accomplished trainer of
both horse and rider.

Braulio began working at Santa Fe Sport Horse in 2012. He is the reason we function without a
hitch!
He is responsible for all the feeding, cleaning and general care of the facility during the week.
The three arenas are groomed and maintained daily. The horses are fed, watered and turned
out on time daily.
The general care of the facility is in Braulio’s competent hands

Chuy came here in 2016 and he works on the weekends. He has a vast knowledge of horses and
what it takes to run a boarding and training facility. He is a tireless worker and is a stickler to
detail.
